I can't remember but you may have to remove the tensioner to get the belt off of it, or possibly you can slip the belt past it sideways. My cars RPMs will hand at seemingly random times as well as the surging you explained. Just recently on a 2 hr drive I had the surging really bad. Basically there are so many different ones it would take alot of research to give you an entire list. I would find some that you like and then look up the specs. If the hub bore is more than 67.1 mm its a good idea to run a hubcentric ring..
