2024 Davinci resolve grab still greyed out

I'm new to Davinci Resolve v17. I've noticed some of my clips are greyed out in the timeline I created, but still seem to active and playing (see photo -- Video 5 track on timeline), while other clips are highlighted. When I clip on my greyed out clip on the timeline, I'm unable to drag it to shorten the length and I don't have as many options .... Ufc o

Make sure the oval icon on the far left (just to the left of the speaker icon) below the viewer is off. When it's red, titles and subtitles won't appear. Thank you for the quick answer. I would clear the markers and re-run the job in the render queue which reset the IN/OUT markers. After Clearing the IN/OUT markers, make sure to delete any jobs in the render queue and re-add them.
